Daishichi Sake Brewery, Myouka Rangyoku Grand Cuvee Brewed Year 2007 ── After Ten Years

Preface :
Thanks for the generous from President Ohta of Daishichi Sake Brewery about this sake.
My sake journey is not so long and started after 2nd edition of Myouka Rangyoku Grand Cuvee.

The 1st edition was limited 732 bottles, and released very few after 2008 group of eight meeting.

Completed the wish after ten years which was after 1st released in 2007, I am extremely grateful. Just record some touching feelings during tasting.

Experience :
The fragrance after opening the cap was dull with a little bit elegant flowers smell which like sunrise, and demonstrated twilight.

Based on previous drink experience, stored in the refrigerator around 1.5 to 2 hours for decant.

Pour into the glass for continuing decanting, and smell like prototype as 2nd and 3rd Grand Cuvee which had koji smell behind several fragrance phases. The lily, grass, and oriental herbal smells mixed very well.

The taste was not like Koshu at all!
Koji taste after drinking was finished sharply instead of complexity and long tail as year of the year grand cuvee, but this clear taste was vivid which can't be affected by food, water, temperature, and any other factors. This one glass of sake spent one to two hours for taste and enjoyed with fragrance went more expansion.

The imagination and possibility absolutely jump out of the frame of the Japanese sake.
It was hard to evaluate the status of it, since I also spent several times to decant the grand cuvee of the current year, and gradually catched its rhythm. For this rare edition sake, you may only met once in your lifetime. But I was sincerely thankful for the great time during enjoyment.

And, how about next ten years?
